The short version. Mount Pisgah Christian School needed a capital campaign the whole community could trust enough to fund. Roar built the messaging and the brand for Moving Pisgah Forward, and delivered more than thirty projects in six months.
Where they started. Mount Pisgah was gifted an old church property to become its Lower School, and for more than a decade the plan to reimagine those spaces started and stopped, until the community wondered whether it would ever happen. New leadership brought vision and stability. After the school’s senior marketing director heard Trey speak about Roar’s MessagingEQ framework at the SAIS annual conference, the marketing and development teams brought Roar in to lead the campaign’s messaging and brand.
The move. Within two weeks of signing, Roar flew in for a two-day site visit to immerse in the school’s culture and communications. We built the whole campaign on one messaging and creative strategy, shaped through a facilitated on-site workshop, virtual interviews with more than twenty parents, and many rounds of feedback. Everything traces back to five drivers: One Pisgah Together, Every Student Valued, Environments That Elevate Teaching, First Impressions Matter, and Designed for What’s Next.
What we made:
- A sixty-page strategic messaging guidebook with positioning, a core narrative, audience-specific messaging, leadership talking points, and language guardrails
- A full brand identity package for Moving Pisgah Forward
- The flagship campaign book for the public phase, plus print and digital collateral
- On-campus signage and environmental design, from construction fencing to pole banners
- Creative direction and messaging for the campaign video, filmed on campus, with three spin-offs in the works
- A campaign micro site and a social package for launch
What happened. In roughly seven months, Roar delivered more than thirty projects, all speaking with one voice across every audience and every phase of the campaign. The work supports a master plan that reimagines the Lower School’s academic level into purpose-built, grade-level neighborhoods, with phase one set to break ground in spring 2027.
